A mob of Israeli settlers, escorted by the Israeli military, invaded the Palestinian town of Tuwani in the occupied West Bank.

Settlers entered a privately owned Palestinian garden under the claim of a religious ritual. The military arrived first, locking down the village, blocking roads, and setting up soldiers with assault rifles on Palestinian rooftops.

Palestinian residents were forced to stay inside, locked down in their own town, while settlers, many armed and in partial military dress, rode in on buses. The entire town stayed up in anticipation of an invasion—knowing these incursions rarely end well.
