What would a maker conference center look like that was designed by makers? Here are a few ideas shared via a Screenflow screencast and Google SketchUp video.
Production notes:
To get better audio than the iSight webcam on my MacBook, I recorded the audio separately into my Canon Vixia camcorder using this professional lavalier microphone. http://bettermicrophone.blogspot.com
I then exported the audio from that video and added it to the screencast.
I exported the screencast to QuickTime format (h.264) and then used Rob Griffith's tip to play the QuickTime at 1.1 times speed.

I captured the sped up video using Screenflow and re-exported to a QuickTime file. The speeding up changed the duration of the video from about 5 mins 30 seconds to 5 minutes. The pace of my speaking sounds more lively and engaging in the sped up version.
The original screencast can be found here.
