This week I delve into adding a feature to Inkscape... yes yes, I know, feature freeze. But it was worth taking a little bit of time to focus on a problem a user reported and I'll be honest folks, there's not been a lot of reports of problems with the alpha. Which is a wonderful problem to have and I hope it continues so we can get the release done quicker!

So what is all this PDF and linking nonsense? Well what it means is that Inkscape now has internally the concept of linking between internal objects, including pages. If you add the id correctly into the hyperlink feature, it will link the object when clicked on. The PDF part is just making sure this is exported correctly to PDF too. I didn't do any work on importing this kind of link though, so that might still need future work.

As stated though, it'll also need some design work.
