"If You Could Hie to Kolob" was always my favorite church hymn, mostly because of the tune but also because of the weird name and subject matter. The hymn's tune was taken from "Dives and Lazarus" which is a traditional English folk ballad. Here's my arrangement of it on the Appalachian dulcimer!

There are a lot of imperfections in this one. I'm still at the point where playing with the camera on makes me self-conscious and nervous. After a million or so takes I figured this was good enough for a "learning to play" video, but maybe I'll revisit it sometime when I'm more comfortable (and overall better at playing).
