Well, "works" is a bit of an exaggeration. Every single standoff is broken, and the plastic is super brittle and cracking everywhere. But I fixed the split gear! I really like the chip they chose for this. It’s the usual Small World arrangement but it just seems a bit more peppy, I presume the sound waves themselves are different somehow, but I'm not an expert on this stuff (to clarify: I am an expert on chinafakes. I am not an expert on sound waves)

These show up on Xianyu every so often, so I might get another one and hopefully it will be less broken (to be fair I did most of the breaking, I started this repair right when I had just begun collecting and so I was pretty inexperienced). Either way, this is the only footage of one with a correctly moving staff!
