A timelapse film turning a day of work on sea ice into 6 minutes. Filmed during the Arven Etter Nansen Joint Cruise 3, in Kvitøyrenna - a trench located between Nordaustlandet and Kvitøya joining the northern Barents Sea and Arctic Ocean.

It gives an insight into ice conditions and work that happens on a sea ice sampling station. This site had particularly tricky ice near the ship / gangway, with better conditions further out.
