How to build a simple Arduino robot using ARPS

time2 yr agoview23 views

ARPS is a versatile Arduino UNO compatible shield designed to make it easy to learn or teach microcontroller programming and robotics without needing to build and debug circuits on breadboards first. ARPS features snap-off optical floor and line sensor modules, as well as a convenient expansion header that can hold an ultrasonic SONAR distance sensor module or interface to other devices. Use ARPS to make simple line following robots, robots that sense or avoid objects, classroom Sumo robots, and even remote-controlled robots!

The MDF (medium-density fibreboard) used to construct this robot chassis is inexpensive and easy to cut, drill, and decorate, making it a great choice for building robots in classrooms and makerspaces!

The robot in this video was built using prototype ARPS circuit boards supplied by PCBWay. Thank you to PCBWay for supporting my work. Get ARPS PCBs from PCBWay: https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/ARPS_A_Beginner_Arduino_compatible_Robot_Project_Shield_1312e173.html
