During the war, the Russian army is destroying Ukrainian architectural and cultural monuments. In Kharkiv, architect-restorer Viktor Dvornikov is working to preserve historical heritage. Together with volunteers, he collects remnants of historical building materials from the ruins of the Biotechnical University for its future restoration. He is also helping to restore a former printing house, which now houses the cultural center "Druk." Our journalists visited the independent theater "Ocheret." The actors are repairing and furnishing the space provided by the center on their own. How to preserve culture during war? Why is it important to revive forgotten historical monuments, and how significant is it to build a community around a meaningful cause? Watch about this and more in Gwara Media's report on the restoration of cultural monuments.
