Born in Russia Chelyabinsk, Gennady Kushnarev was one of the most prominent and aggressive pro-Russian activists in Ukrainian town of Odesa in 2014. On the video Kushnarev speaks to media in March 2014, calling the pro-Ukrainian activists as "dogs that need to be shot" and then shouting that "Odessa is a Russian town!" On 2 May 2014 Kushnarev died in the fire of House of Unions likely started by the pro-Russian activists themselves, after they killed a number of pro-Ukrainian activists just like Kushnarev promised.
