Feverdream Future #jamuary2023 - day 15/16

Third jam of #Jamuary23. Exploring the @Bastlinstruments setup once more!

This patch was not what I initially wanted. I had a more 'poppy' sounding ambient patch, but I screwed up by switching the Kastl off. Somehow this changed the whole track so I started with a new one. This took me quite some time, but in the end I'm quite happy with this outcome. Definitely not poppy, yet I like the melancholic touch. It's hard to intentionally get a certain sound with the Kastl (for me), but if you're open & adaptive to change the machine will perform some other nice sounds :) The crackling percussive sounds are done by the Drum.

The output of the Dude was connected with the audio in of my NTS-1 which added a bit of reverb. Recorded it into the Zoom-H5. Edited the recording in Audacity: duplicated the recorded tracks a few times and panned these with the original tracks to give it a bit more depth. Also added two tracks with lower pitched variants but kept them very much in the background of the mix. EQ'ed it a bit to bring out the bass a bit more. Compressed it to remove some of the peaks, but kept the rough noisy texture. The movie was edited using Kdenlive on Ubuntu Linux 22.04
