My first attempt on playing the recently released C64 version of Eye of the Beholder. It is mostly me struggling with the controls, the labyrinth and the goblins. At least I managed it that 3 of 4 party members survived level 1 😅

To my defense, I have not managed to get the mouse emulation to work in VICE so it is all keyboard controls. On an emulator the keyboard controls are really great, but on original hardware with the C64s cursor keys it might be a pain, and the ebay-prices for a C64 1351 mouse a too damn high insert meme here

I have to say that this port of EotB is amazing. Even the intro quite accurate and the SID-version of the intro-music is great. I finished the DOS version last year and this homebrew port has the exactly same vibes, the same feature plus an auto-map.
