Video of a Hamilton County jailer named Jason Mize slamming a frail 61-year-old prisoner head first into a concrete wall led to the former deputy's arrest on federal charges. This is not the first time that concerns have been raised over excessive force on the part of this particular corrections officer, who is a power lifter. Mize ended up pleading guilty to the federal felony charge. The taxpayers have been held liable in the amount of half a million dollars as well.
