What a nice fan effort this Monkey Island game is. We get to revisit Booty Island and meet some old friends again in the style of monkey island 3. There are a whole lot of reference and nods to the original series and every Monkey Island fan will get a lot out of that. Of course we play Guybrush Threepwood and of course we need to go after Le Chuck (who we sadly don't meet in the game) and to do so we need to get 3 people to drink in a bar, and since they are all pirates this is harder than you might think... The humor and absurd dialogs and situations are all there and remind of the original Monkey Island series a lot and are fun to explore, but sometimes there is a bit too much talking, I didn't go through all the options in the longplay but I hope I caught the most important ones that drive the story. The graphics are hand drawn lineart and the animations that look a lot like Monkey Island 3 but with their own charme. The characters are all animatied and look really smooth and convicing. The music is really well done, really nails the mood and makes you want to continue playing and get them all to drink together. Sadly we don't hear the sea shanty Ignatius weaved into the deal...
