This echo was recorded (on my phone) and edited today June 26, 2025. As usual, best listened on headphones. A stop at Shoppers Drug Mart. On my way from work to the store, I noticed something interesting: because I was recording, I was very attuned to the sounds around me and how I sensed those sounds, the 3D, spatialized aspect of it. When I walk in the streets, I usually don't pay much attention to my surroundings, shutting the world out, so it was quite a different experience. I guess you don't need to go to the other side of the world to travel, sometimes you just have to pay attention to what's around you.

Sur le chemin du travail au magasin, j'ai remarqué quelque chose d'intéressant : comme j'enregistrais, j'étais très à l'écoute des sons qui m'entouraient et de la façon dont je les percevais, leur aspect tridimensionnel, spatialisé. Quand je marche dans la rue, je ne prête généralement pas beaucoup d'attention à mon environnement, je m'isole du monde extérieur, donc c'était une expérience vraiment différente. Je suppose qu'il n'est pas nécessaire d'aller à l'autre bout du monde pour voyager ; parfois, il suffit juste de prêter attention à ce qui nous entoure.
