The game is interesting in that is more like a RPG in its look, you see topdown onto the world of Bloodlust II - The Secret of Santa Monica. It starts with you being told you got turned into a vampire yesterday and now you have things to do. Maybe it helps when you know what the "Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines" games are about, but as someon not in the know this story introduction in a sentence and overall storyline is quite underwhelming. But still the world is filled with lots of details and characters. Those characters all give you more stuff to do and and I managed to get one objective done of what the demo gives you and talking to a new character opens another can of worms. Maybe when the game gets out of the demo stage there is more stuff to do but in the current version I probably hit a wall of things to do. There is some subtle background music playing, that is nice, there is one SFX, when you get a new objective, and I heard it a lot. Maybe there is another sfx when you fulfill an objective but I might have missed that as that happend only once. Also the only voiced line is the laughter of the vampire following you around, that got annoying pretty quick ha ha ha. The graphics of the game are pretty good though and made me continue playing just to see more of it and meet more characters and see their good looking portraits, so the game can become really good when it leaves the demo stage. The 2 in the title comes from a version 2 rather than a second chapter in the story, there is an older version of the game that has the same locations but not as good art (but a longer intro).
