This demo hints at great things to come. Watch Da Toast outdid himself and created a fantastic colorful world full of life (play the demo and just stay in the first room and enjoy the animations, the birds flying by, the wind in the trees, the sounds, everything) while telling an epic story set in this world spanning 3 kingdoms and involving shocking revelations about the animal kingdom, the wolves and what the machines have to do with it and it is getting really dark towards the end... You might just want to play the demo yourself to not get spoiled by this video and explore Velehill with Finn the happy roebuck yourself and meet all these quirky, funny and unique animal characters and see what he has to tell you about his world. The art in the game is breathtakingly good, everything breathes and is alive, every pixel has purpose and the animations are better than some Saturday morning cartoons and could be straight out of Lucas Arts classics like Day of the Tentacle or Sam n Max. Every motion has a sound effect and also the character movement is told through musical cues like in cartoons, it is really fun to just explore the game. And of course the music is fitting and charming and right in place. The full game will be way longer and take you on a journey through lots of areas and worlds. Synopsis: Strange things are happening in the animal kingdom of Velehill. Unknown shadows of large appearance are seen roaming trough the forests, making the ground shake with every step of their steel feet. Houses and trees get destroyed and one animal after the other seems to disappear mysteriously. Finn, a young and adventurous deer, soon finds out about the disappearance of his family as well. Without hesitation, he goes an a journey to find them... not knowing he and his new friend Gwen the owl will soon uncover an ancient and dark secret which should have been kept hidden for all eternity...
