Another way too short entry for the $105 adventure jam, but playing it and solving the puzzles actually takes you much longer than this playthrough takes, try it yourself, it is worth it! The graphics are very good pixelart and the animations are sweet and oh so fluid with that little cartoony touch that makes it seem really special and reminds a lot of the Dragon's Lair games. The story is about getting through the enemy lines and not get killed, so far so good, gameplay is with the keyboard only though and needs some getting used to. Thus I use puzzle adventure and not point and click in the title, but the puzzles are very well placed and thought out and engaging, what do you want more?! The backgrounds are painted with lovely detail and the music and even the soundeffects are adding to that great atmosphere. And on top of that snusnu coded the whole Corax Engine on their own, much respect for that! In case you are interested in a new 2d game engine for puzzly platformers and the like (maybe even with mouse support some day), which you probably are when you watch longplays of indie games on a niche channel like this one, you can follow the open source development (and help out of course) on github: https://github.com/luckylyk/theWhiteCrowParrot The only downside is that there are no savepoints, but it is a jam game after all and it is very short and we are all just too spoiled from games these days, some 20 years ago this would have been just normal...

Synopsis: This game is made for the $105 Graphic Adventure GameJam.

To reply the question: No all of this wasn't done in 2 weeks, I designed some assets as placeholder to help myself while I was developping the engine and his features.

Those place holder where limited to the basic main character move, and the forest background. All the rest was done during the jam.
