This is an Indiana Jones Fanadventure from 2014. It is absolutely NOT the best free Indiana Jones Fan game out there, and I don't really recommend you play it, if you are interested watch this longplay, but I just wanted to have it in my collection here as I'm a sucker for Indy Fangames, no matter what... there you have it. All in all the game has mixed quality graphics (the big map of Venice looks completely different from the rest of the game) and way too many pixel hunts. This becomes obvious in the very first room already, it took me ages to find Indy's purse (it is hidden in a corner of the curtain, WTactualF!) and this is the intro for the game to come. Forget to pick up that one book in Indy's room (one really small hotspot called book between a giant hotspot called books, how dare you miss this item) and you can probably not complete the game or go back to get the book and you don't know what you are missing, this is no good game design! But maaaybe it is a nod to the original Last Crusade Adventure game, that had similar well hidden books in the library of Venice, well, that sucked in that game too and here it is especially bad (and I can still hear the evil laugh of the developer from 2014...). Also there are no real hints on what to do, and most of the things just don't make sense (punching a pole in venice yields you a fish) or are just out of character for Indy, like poisoning a seagull, and you do that cruel thing to get a membership card of the Italian fascist party that then just appears on the ground, this absolutely makes no sense or is a weird sarcastic commentary on fascism, but I doubt that. There is no music to the game but the sparse SFX are made from sounds like a pc speaker makes. That has some nostalgic value to it, but only a little bit. And in case you wonder what the solution to the last "translation" puzzle on the treasure chest is, you write bravery ability strength in chinese or mongolian and of course there is no hint why this is the correct order of words...

Synopsis: Europe, 1939: Indy finds himself once again hot on the trail of an ancient treasure. A famous diary, thought lost to the world forever, has been found. This discovery leads Indy to Venice to seek out the book, and then onwards to the East, deep into the mysterious Oriental kingdoms which once lay under the iron-fisted rule of Genghis Khan. In this bitter time, overshadowed by the threat of cataclysmic war and the power struggles of two meglomaniacal fascist leaders, Indy must tread his way carefully through the political intrigue of war-time Europe, while also attempting to solve the ancient puzzles which could ultimately lead him to: The Lost Gold Of Genghis Khan.

The game takes place just after Indy has returned home from "The Last Crusade". The player steps into Indy's shoes as he must steel himself for the coming struggle against Mussolini's fascist forces to reach Ulan-Bator first, armed with enough knowledge to beat them to the treasure.
