On 23 April 2025 a group of Ukrainian long-range assault drones targeted "Alabuga" plant specialising in production of Russian assault drones "Geran-2" (licensed from Iranian "Shaheed-136"). This is the second such attack on the plant which is located nearly 2000 km from Ukraine. Some of the drones were certainly downed and the outcome of the attack is unclear.
