Sometimes I play experimental games or remakes or demakes of old school games. Jelly Mario Bros is all of that. You are Mario but you move like a squid in a Mario underwater level, it's as if Mario took the wrong kind of power up mushroom. The game is weird, laggy and bad. But so bad it is some kind of masochistic fun to navigate that strange morphing mario blob through the first 4 levels. There are no power-ups. Touch an enemy and you die. This gets especially hard with the flames in level 1-4. I left all my miserable tries in the video, you can suffer with me. Or play it yourself and see how far you make it. The game only consists of the levels 1-1 to 1-4 and that is good. The slowed down and warping music of level 1-4 together with the mind bending gameplay made my brain melt but I couldn't stop before beating bowser at least once...
