U-Ropa creates a dense and claustrophobic atmosphere you have to escape from. A whole civilization is at war with another tribe while you are locked in a submarine and have to solve some more or less hard puzzles to escape from the shot down wreck. The music helps creating the atmosphere and the great pixelart by Hobo is a joy to hunt pixels in. Where the game sadly falls flat are some random instadeaths and all the other ways to die but these sudden instadeaths really are frustrating. I managed to longplay the game without any of these happening, so if you are stuck use the longplay to find a solution to all the puzzles. U-ROPA was made during the MAGS 12/2015 competition with the theme depleted.
