The two narrow roads called Worple Way in East Sheen are often used by cars and SUV's trying to short-cut the main road which carries a lot of traffic. Many of the drivers are aggressive. A level crossing appears to encourage traffic to speed across when the crossing light changes to flashing amber because of oncoming trains.

There is a car immediately behind me as a cyclist and the road is not wide enough at this point for two cars to pass, so the oncoming SUV driver has no way to proceed. A sign suggests the local authority is trying to carry out some form of traffic enforcement.
