The scene near the end of Wim Wenders's "Der Himmel über Berlin" (lit. "The Heaven over Berlin", known to U.S. audiences as "Wings of Desire" for some reason) where Damiel, played by Bruno Ganz, finally informs his friend Cassiel, played by Otto Sander, that he wishes to 'fall'. Cassiel leaves his friend sprawled on the ground near the Berlin Wall and Damiel gets to experience his first taste of living in time.
