Open Source Ecosystems for better Engineering

• In short, the Open Toolchain Foundation aims to democratize engineering, making it available to anyone who wants to design, exchange designs, or manufacture products.

• The first ever Community Developer Hackathon in March 2023 on #opentoolchain aspects was a success for hardware and software development alike. It will need more Events and Hackathons like this to facilitate better engineering through more open toolchains and active collabortion across communities. The #OTFN is there to provide support, host events and promote the tools in academia and beyond.
