When it comes to Gaza, the media consistently gets it wrong. Year after year, Israel bombs Gaza, the world’s largest “open air prison”. With a civilian population of more than 2 million people, who all live under tight Israeli siege, Gazans have nowhere to run from Israeli bombs. And yet, Israel consistently plays the role of the victim. Despite being the occupier and military superpower, Israel maintains it is defending itself against big bad armed groups in Gaza.
