This portion of Sinbad's countless dozens of voyages has him going from poor to rich to poor to rich . . . AND being buried alive . . . THEN collared by the nasty old man, thus becoming the slave of "The Old Man of the Sea"

Broadcast on June 7, 1953

STUFF-N-SUCH: I read many of Sinbad's tales when I was a kid, and there was a picture very similar to the one one my cover art . . . SO I just HAD TO put in some dialog for Sinbad with the old man grasping him around the neck. (satire) I wrote almost the exact same words that I wrote in the book 50 years ago! It was the first thing that came to mind back then just as it was today!
