That afternoon, I took some time to the bird shop, just to look—not to buy anything. As soon as I entered the shop, I saw many different kinds of birds—tiao, mynah, budgerigars, and some other colorful birds that I didn't know the name of. Suddenly, I saw a small cage in a corner, where two love birds were sitting.

At first, they sat very quietly, but after a while, they started to play little pranks. One was poking the other, and the next, they were sitting next to each other. I quickly took out my mobile phone and started recording a video.

This fight between the two love birds was really eye-catching. Their colors were very attractive—one was green, the other was a light orange. The two birds were not just playing with each other, sometimes it seemed like they were speaking their own language. Some were annoying each other, some were caressing each other—all in all, a very vivid picture of love.

While recording the video, I felt that love and friendship are not limited to humans. These two little birds seem to be very happy in their own little world. Watching their mischief, a smile came to my own face.

সেদিন বিকেলে একটু সময় নিয়ে গিয়েছিলাম পাখির দোকানে, শুধু দেখার জন্য—not কোনো কিছু কেনার উদ্দেশ্যে। দোকানে ঢুকতেই চোখে পড়ল কত রকমের পাখি—টিয়া, ময়না, বাজরিগার আর কিছু নাম না জানা রঙিন পাখি। হঠাৎ এক কোণায় নজর গেল ছোট একটা খাঁচার দিকে, যেখানে দুটি লাভ বার্ড বসে ছিল।

প্রথমে ওরা একদম চুপচাপ বসেছিল, কিন্তু কিছুক্ষণ পরেই শুরু করল ছোট ছোট দুষ্টামি। একজন অন্যজনকে ঠোকর দিচ্ছে, আবার পরক্ষণেই পাশে গিয়ে গা ঘেঁষে বসছে। আমি তাড়াতাড়ি মোবাইলটা বের করে ভিডিও করতে শুরু করলাম।

দুটি লাভ বার্ডের এই খুনসুটি সত্যিই চোখে পড়ার মতো। ওদের রঙ ছিল খুবই আকর্ষণীয়—একটা ছিল সবুজ, অন্যটা হালকা কমলা মেশানো। পাখি দুটি শুধু একে অপরের সাথে খেলা করছিল না, মাঝে মাঝে মনে হচ্ছিল যেন নিজেদের ভাষায় কথা বলছে। কেউ কাউকে বিরক্ত করছে, কেউ বা আদর করছে—সব মিলিয়ে একদম জীবন্ত ভালোবাসার চিত্র।

ভিডিও করতে করতে আমার মনে হচ্ছিল, ভালোবাসা আর বন্ধুত্ব শুধু মানুষের ভেতরেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়। এই ছোট্ট পাখি দুটিও যেন নিজেদের ছোট্ট দুনিয়ায় খুব ভালো আছে, আনন্দে আছে। ওদের দুষ্টামি দেখতে দেখতে আমার নিজের মুখেও একটা হাসি চলে এসেছিল।

এই ভিডিওটা শুধু দুটি পাখির দুষ্টুমির রেকর্ড নয়, বরং একটুকরো আনন্দের মুহূর্ত, যা মনটা হালকা করে দেয়। জীবনের তাড়াহুড়োর মাঝে এমন ছোট ছোট দৃশ্যই অনেক বড় শান্তির উৎস হয়ে দাঁড়ায়।
