Most of us experienced nightmares and the unwell feeling after waking up. But for some people nightmares are a frequent event, which elevates their overall stress level and reduces the quality of their sleep. Fortunately, there are ways to overcome and drastically reduce the frequency of nightmares appearing. In his talk Michael Schredl explores the topic of nightmares and introduces simple concepts to effectively deal with them. Dr. Michael Schredl is the Scientific Director of the Sleep Laboratory at the Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim. His research advances our understanding of sleep patterns and their crucial role in mental health and human well-being.
