A special reconnaissance group of three operatives from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine conducted a raid on the positions of Russian paratroopers from the 247th Air Assault Regiment. Upon reaching enemy lines, they engaged in close combat with a Russian group of three. During the clash, the Russians used an unknown chemical agent. As a result of gas poisoning, the Ukrainian soldiers became incapacitated and were captured. The enemy began retreating with the prisoners toward an occupied settlement, moving through open terrain monitored by Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance. As the Russians reached their first shelter, they were hit with precision FPV drone strikes. After the first paratrooper was neutralized, one of the Ukrainian captives, callsign «Ketsa», used the confusion and panic to escape. He hid in a ruined building and waited to see how the situation would unfold. Meanwhile, FPV operators eliminated the remaining two Russian soldiers. A drone then flew to the two freed operatives — «Anubis» and «Klyuchyk» — delivering instructions from their commander on how to escape from occupied territory. «Ketsa» independently reached Ukrainian lines a few hours later after nightfall. The freed special forces soldiers returned with captured enemy weapons and valuable intelligence. All are currently undergoing treatment for chemical burns. Stepove village, Zaporizhia region.
