This instrument is made of a broken piece of PVC pipe I fished out of a construction site dumpster, with two weed trimmer strings tuned with eyehole screws and amplified with a piezeoelectric pickup directly under the saddle. The scale length is about 192 cm and the tuning is the B and E of a five-stringed upright bass. I built it in about fifteen minutes one day after school in 2006 or 2007 while frustrated with another project. It is my favorite instrument I have built.
