- DESCRIPTION: That day, my journey from Norrington to Mill Bridge turned into a chaotic mess of wrong trains and impulsive decisions. I had one simple goal, but I ended up taking a detour-filled adventure instead. It all started at 18.40 when I boarded an Intercity M220 bound for Avonhill. Feeling that riding the same train for too long would be dull, I decided to get off at Freston just to mix things up. Unfortunately, this was the first of many off-the-cuff decisions that would throw my journey off track. At 18.51, I boarded an Intercity M90, assuming I'd be able to transfer to Mill Bridge from Leaton, so I got off there. From there, things went south quickly. I caught a Semifast M170 at 18:57, but as the doors closed, I realized this train was actually heading back to Norrington. Unable to change my fate, I hopped off at St James Park to stop the mistake from worsening. By 19.02, I took a Semifast M321 back to Leaton, hoping to reset my course. But with no trains available to Mill Bridge, my frustration grew. At 19:08, I jumped on another Semifast M321 to Avonhill, just to cure my boredom. My mindless decisions continued when, at 19:38, I boarded an Intercity M350 to Avonhill again, still lacking a proper route to my destination. When 19.57 rolled around, I boarded yet another Intercity M90 with no clear destination. Not wanting to take a gamble on where I'd end up, I got off again at Leaton. Finally, at 20.12, I caught the right train—a Intercity M220—and successfully descended at Mill Bridge. Throughout this misadventure, I passed by stations like Bawtry Road at 19.10, Woodham at 19.12, and Fleetwood at 19.41, none of which helped me get to Mill Bridge any faster. While I eventually arrived, the whole journey was a lesson in impatience and poor choices—a travel experience I certainly wouldn't recommend.
