After Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, Hergé sent him an amusing cartoon. Tintin had landed there in his book The Adventures of Tintin EXPLORERS ON THE MOON in 1952!
All animations done in Phoenix Flight Simulator using purpose made models for each clip. Aileron, Elevator and Rudder input can be used to independently rotate objects such as heads and limbs, while Gear gives three positions including location and rotation which allows a movement such as stepping up. Pushing Phoenix to the limits!
Tintin Moon Tank inspired by EXPLORERS ON THE MOON.
Merci Hergé!
