This song really resonates with me right now, as I show up every day to manage chronic illness and mental health while being a precarious neurodivergent artist. I've been pushing so hard, and getting so many rejections lately. I have four weeks to get my project funded, or else we'll be forced to go back to square one. I've had to pull out of performances because the money just isn't there to support the show. I'm technically a full time artist, but the vast majority of my time is spent fundraising!
