It's a sad state of affairs when cheap kids toys are engineered better than expensive appliances.
One could argue a dishwasher is more complex... but really, the kids toy has a harsher life. I'm confident I can keep the kids toy working longer than my Dishwasher, with it's capacitive touch sensors and fancy WiFi-connected features.
