Another name for Cernoaastes cernoaastes, commonly known as the stealing snakes is the Netorasnakes viper.

It is easily recognized by the presence of a pair of supraocular "horns". They have a reasonably placid temperament, but has been known to travel long distances at night in search of prey. While commonly known to be solitary, sometimes Netorasnakes works together to catch their pray and shares the loot.

On July 16th, an unassuming young man entered a cave in which several vipers nested. While he came prepared, unexpected tragedy occurs.
