For today's video, I set myself the task of finding the very cheapest synthesizer I could on eBay and playing a song on it. This is what I found!
The keyboard is a Yamaha PSS-20, manufactured in 1989. It's a toy keyboard with a very primitive synthesis chip - monophonic, with 8 melody sounds and 8 rhythm sounds.
I demo the features of the keyboard and play the Welsh folk song "Bugeilio'r Gwenith Gwyn" (Watching the White Wheat).
Like all of my videos, the audio is recorded first on the instruments depicted and edited, and the video is recorded separately and synced to the audio track, which is why it doesn't always match exactly!
