Performed here on the porch at Conor Byrne Coop in Ballard on November 10 2024. This is an original song. Mike wrote the lyrics and he and Garth came to me (Brian on that there accordion) with the song mostly done. I heard a hornpipe in that tune and wrote a fitting one on the accordion. The whole hornpipe bit is at the end of the song (and the first half of it is in the middle too. The hornpipe itself seems pretty obvious to me, but I have yet to find a traditional one it matches so I fear I may have come up with a new hornpipe. If you know of a traditional hornpipe that i seem to be playing here please let me know. Anyway, it's another drinking song. We're hoping to get a studio recording of this done in early 2025.
