The best way to carry a coffee on your bike commute. I tried 12 different methods.

While riding my bike one recent chilly morning, disaster struck in the form of a dropped coffee. Which got me wondering if there was a better way of enjoying my morning jolt while riding my bike. So after a robust conversation with some of you, I decided to test a dozen different methods of drinking coffee while riding.

1:15 Ride with the coffee in one hand. 1:36 Ride with the coffee in one hand, with no lid. 2:33 Handlebar mount (in this case, I used a Handlestash: https://handlestash.com/) 3:42 Handlebar mount with travel mug (in this case, I used a Contigo Travel Mug: https://amzn.to/3acrtKE) 4:49 Travel mug in a bottle cage. 6:33 Travel mug in panniers (in this case, I was using Vincita panniers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089R5PS8N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_985NFb4J93GVQ) 7:11 Travel mug in rear basket. 8:03 Travel mug in front basket. 8:54 Travel mug in a backpack. This is a decent daypack, although not necessarily a cycling backpack: https://alnk.to/6TsoxU8 10:10 Using a Yeti Rambler (amazing for keeping hot drinks hot): https://alnk.to/2uzr3Qv 11:35 Using a hydration pack (you know, like a Camelbak. Like this one: https://amzn.to/2LxtI0I) 13:51 Using a beer helmet: (Seriously, don't try this. But here it is: https://amzn.to/2KwvfDD) 14:08 My favourite.

Thanks to Handlestash and Yeti for providing samples to try.
