In Acts 6 and 7, we follow the story of Stephen, a Jewish teacher and religious leader, who is stoned to death for his faith in Jesus. Stephen is a dramatic example of the persecution that Christians would face in the first century.

In watching this video reflect on the symbolism of Stephen's stoning and how it illustrates the persecution Christians would face from the first century through today around the world.

Most of us in the west have no understanding or real appreciation for those who face persecution for faith in Jesus Christ. Please pray for those who do and that we would follow Stephen's example if we are called to that end.
