Donnie was a Commie.
Part II
Donnie had a plan, or so he’d say, With a wink and a nod, he’d pave his own way. He danced to a tune from across the sea, A strange little ditty in a minor key.
[Verse 2] He sent out tweets like a midnight bard, Spinning tales that were wild and hard. From the Kremlin’s glow to a red parade, He marched to a beat that his heart obeyed.
[Chorus] Oh, Donnie was a commie, or so they sing, With a big red banner and a golden ring. He charmed the bear, made the dragon grin, Oh, Donnie, where does your love begin?
[Bridge] Across the oceans, his heart took flight, In shadowy halls under Moscow’s light. The stars and stripes, they seemed to fade, Replaced by dreams of a crimson jade.
[Verse 3] The people watched with a puzzled frown, As the eagle traded its soaring crown. A tango with leaders of a different tune, Dancing beneath a foreign moon.
[Chorus] Oh, Donnie was a commie, or so they sing, With a big red banner and a golden ring. He charmed the bear, made the dragon grin, Oh, Donnie, where does your love begin?
