Happy new year! Mei-Fang and aBe are starting 2017 with a creative exercise - We will start each work day by creating and uploading a short audio-visual sketch.

Each day we start a timer, and in 60 minutes we should have something online. The beginning was hard. aBe tried doing it with OpenFrameworks, but failed. He could not make the video export library work. Then tried exporting frames to combine them using ffmpeg, but ofSaveFrame() was crashing. With only half hour left, aBe switched to processing and used his own VideoExport library to save this simple moving rectangle. He used KDEnlive to add the credits, combine audio and video and fade in and out. MF created the sound using Max/MSP.

We have some kind of minimal workflow now in place, so we hope tomorrow we can do something more advanced. Maybe two squares :P
