Ukrainian heavy 2S7 "Pion" cannon obliterates one of the main Russian strongholds in the town of Toretsk. Fighting for the town started in June 2024 and Russia claimed full "liberation" on 7 February 2025, which was never verifiably demonstrated by video evidence and since then Russian forces started actually losing ground in the town. Failure to take Toretsk is widely seen as one of the indicators of Russian offensive losing impetus.
