In this video you can listen to a comparison of the Roland Juno 106 synthesizer with the TAL Software U-NO-LX, a cross-platform Roland 60 clone (also) running on Linux. Turns out that the sound quality of TAL-U-NO-LX may depend more on the user's synth programming skills than on the software as such.
