Starting from the west levy and turning east I walk to the river. The area between the levy and the green bags was covered in trash and underbrush until I cleaned it last spring. Over the course of a couple of weeks, I cut the reeds and underbrush from the bags to the river and picked up and sorted all the garbage that was thrown from the bridge by drivers. Today was day 7 and I am done. There will still be a few bags a week thrown by assholes in cars but I can keep up with that and keep this place looking nice. Spring is just around the corner.
