The Queensland Railways 2900 Class is being built specifically for the passenger services operating in Queensland - e.g. the Westlander from Brisbane to Charleville or the Spirit of the Outback from Brisbane to Longreach. 2902 is the second member of the class and currently being tested. 2195A provided backup.
