Putting an Automotive Relay into my ZD-915 Desoldering Station (ad free)

time5 mo agoview42 views

I'm hacking an automotive relay into my desoldering station to circumvent the long wiring activating the vacuum pump.

My previous ZD-915 modding video: https://youtu.be/26VEOadIn1M

The tutorial I got this idea from (German forum): https://circuit-board.de/forum/index.php/Thread/26421-Etwas-mehr-aus-einer-ZD-915-Entlötstation-rausholen/

I used a Hella brand 12V closing automotive relay and a 1N4007 diode for this mod.
