On 21 November 2024 Putin delivered a TV speech where he threatened with ICBM attacks on Ukraine and Poland in response to Ukraine Storm Shadow hits on Russian military base in Kursk oblast'. Many people noticed however, that Putin's body looked weird on the video (here it's 7 minutes of speech in high speed mode, compressed to 2 minutes), specifically his hands were completely static, as if they were not part of his body. This suggested the video was not a live recording of actual Putin but somehow AI-animated recording. Apparently in response to these allegations, a Russian journalist was allowed to "leak" a recording in which Putin moves a wooden chair and browses some paper which he described as if these trivial operations were some kind of record-breaking achievement. Suspicions of Russian audience were reinforced by the fact that Putin has not been seen in person since beginning of November, which was confirmed by Dmitry Peskov who just explained Putin is undergoing a "scheduled medical procedure".
