Pt1 Second March Snow Day (not the last)

time4 mo agoview1 views

Historically, March is the snowiest month in this region. It doesn't always feel like it, since sometimes a lot of the winter snow pack has melted, and the new snow might melt quickly, at least in places that were already bare. This year it's looking pretty white- can be a pain for shovelling, but after a winter with moderate snowfall, the moisture is good for the soil, native ecosystems, gardens, fields (my order of priorities..lol). On March 10th, this is our second notable snowfall- not on the level of wetter cold climates, but we do have a large area to shovel by hand on this acreage- the next videos in this mini-series will show some more of that shovelled area. Three days later as I'm editing/posting, and we are already on our next snowfall--not clear yet which forecast will come true- 2-4cm? 10-15?
