It's Eurovision week, so here's some Eurovision music - the Prelude to Marc-Antoine Charpentier's "Te Deum", as played at the start and end of every Eurovision broadcast.
My arrangement is for two ocarinas, and is taken from my book Ocarina Repertoire Volume 1: https://preecemusic.com/ocarina-repertoire-1-d/
In this video I play John Langley concert pendant ocarinas; the accompaniment on a tenor ocarina of the most recent design, and the melody on an older alto ocarina. As well as the glaze being a different colour, the top and bottom of the instrument are rounded, rather than the flat sides seen on newer Langley instruments.
Like all of my videos, the audio is recorded first on the instruments depicted and edited for timing and intonation, and the video is recorded separately and synced to the audio track, which is why it doesn't always match exactly!
