#SchumanShow What do you know about potatoes? That's probably an easier question to answer than "how many civil society organisations are there in Brussels" (hint: it's a lot). The same goes for potatoes: there's at least two prominent lobby groups... and they're rivals.
Ah, the glorious potato. One of the most versatile vegetables consumed universally. Tater tots, fries, gratin... the list goes on and on. It only makes sense that, at the European level, there are trade associations advocating for the protection of this sacred staple starch. In this humourous interpretation, you'll find the cast of The Schuman Show as your regular NGO employees - breaking into offices, covertly stealing precious manifestos, that sort of thing. From this sketch, you'll learn about how NGOs work* through the eyes of EUROPATAT and EUPPA (be sure to put that skill on your next job application, kids!). Will these rival lobbies ever join forces? Watch now to find out!
*We cannot confirm nor deny that this sketch is based on real life.
